Military milestones



- Fort Gordon has announced the following honors:

Spc. Joey Przyzycki, a linguist assigned to D Company, Task Force Lightening, 513th Military Intelligence Brigade, is the Servicemember of the Quarter.

Staff Sgt. Samuel Fairbank, a drill sergeant for B Company, 447th Signal Battalion, is the Noncommissioned Officer of the Quarter.

Staff Sgt. Michael January, assigned to A Company, 369th Signal Battalion, is the Instructor of the Quarter.

Spc. Dianna Royal, a food service specialist assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion, is the Cook of the Quarter.

Philip Sines, a supervisory force integration specialist assigned to the Office Chief of Signal, is the Civilian of the Quarter.

Kristine Woodbury, who served as a family readiness group leader for Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 202nd Military Intelligence Battalion, is the July Volunteer of the Month.

William Myles, a volunteer in the Religious Education Center, is the August Volunteer of the Month.

Sarah Ebbey, a volunteer in various program areas in Army Community Service, is the September Volunteer of the Month.

- Navy Airman Recruit Chanel J. Collins, a 2002 graduate of the Academy Richmond County and daughter of Janice T. and Charlie J. Collins, of Augusta, completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

- Air Force Airman 1st Class Paul C. Browne, a 1998 graduate of Evans High School, a 2003 graduate of Augusta Technical College and son of Paul Browne, of Waynesboro, Ga., and Teri Browne, of Augusta, has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

- Marine Corps Pvt. George Williams III, a 2005 graduate of Glenn Hills High School, recently completed 12 weeks of basic training at Marine Corps Recruit Depot, Parris Island, S.C.

- Army Pfc. LaMia D. Corley, a 2005 graduate of T.W. Josey High School and daughter of Phyllis Corley, of Augusta, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.

- Navy Seaman Recruit Frank J. Maddox, a 2004 graduate of Lucy C. Laney High School and son of Ilene and Frank J. Maddox, of Augusta, recently completed Navy basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Ill.

- Army Sgt. 1st Class Donald J. Poole, an instructor/writer assigned to the 73rd Ordnance at Fort Gordon, has retired from the Army after 20 years of service.

- Air Force Airman 1st Class Johnathan E. Hicks, a 2001 graduate of A.R. Johnson Health Science and Engineering Magnet High School and son of Willie and Myrtice Hicks, of Augusta, has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

- Air Force Airman Justin J. Pride, a 2003 graduate of Glenn Hills High School and son of Bobby Pride and Felicia Pride, both of Augusta, has graduated from basic training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio.

- Army Pfc. Kevin A. Massey, a 2004 graduate of Hephzibah High School and son of Linda S. and Edward E. Massey, of Hephzibah, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia.
