Run away and hide? Again?
Once again the weasels in the media and their quisling, accomplice politicians are clamoring for America to abandon our responsibilities. Thirty years after we deserted South Vietnam to the tender mercies of the communists, the cut-and-run crowd is urging America to leave Iraq.
When we ran away from Vietnam, more than 58,000 American soldiers had died. Uncounted thousands had been wounded; all had been dishonored. Millions died in Southeast Asian re-education camps and ethnic cleansing.
We ask our soldiers to fight and die, and our allies to rely on us - then we don't have the courage to do the right thing. Is it any wonder allies and enemies alike doubt America's trustworthiness?
If we abandon Iraq, we will prove to the world that America has no heart, no courage, no soul, no self-respect and no word, and is less admirable than even France.
