SALISBURY, N.C. - Junior point guard Mindy Allee and freshman Kendra Chandler flirted with perfect nights shooting as USC Aiken beat Lenoir-Rhyne, 65-62 on Saturday, to earn a split in the Catawba Classic doubleheader tournament.

Allee led the Lady Pacers (3-3) with 14 points, five assists and two steals. Chandler, of Aiken, had 13 points and two steals.

Allee was 4-for-5 from the field - all of them 3-point attempts - and 2-for-2 from the free throw line. Chandler hit five of six shots from the field and all three of her free-throw attempts.

USC Aiken lost to Catawba, 62-50, in Friday's first game of the tournament.

In Atlanta, Curtis Withers scored 24 points and grabbed 10 rebounds as Charlotte dominated the offensive boards and downed Georgia State.

Charlotte (2-3) had 22 second chance points in the game, thanks to 42-19 edge on the boards that included 20 offensive rebounds.

VANDERBILT 68, GEORGETOWN 61

In Washington, Shan Foster connected on five 3-pointers and scored 20 points to lead Vanderbilt to a win over Georgetown.

The Commodores (4-0) trailed by as many as 13 in the first half, but shot 59 percent in the second to send Georgetown (2-1) to a loss in its home opener.

Foster scored 13 points in the second half and made five of his eight 3-point attempts in the game. Mario Moore added 12 points off the bench for Vanderbilt.

Jeff Green scored 14 points to lead the Hoyas, who led 33-20 with 4:15 left in the first half.
