The Paine College Concert Choir and the Divine Unity Praise Dancers will present a Christmas program at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Gilbert-Lambuth Memorial Chapel on Druid Park Avenue. Henry Johnson directs the choir, and Sandra Scott, the head of the department of music, will accompany them. A reception and tree-lighting ceremony will follow in the Peters Campus Center.
Handel's Messiah will be

Christian-patriotic artist Eric Horner will present a concert at 6 p.m. Friday on Barton Field at Fort Gordon. In case of rain, the event will be moved to Alexander Hall. The 15th Regimental Signal Brigade and Fort Gordon are sponsors. Call 791-2056.
The Rev. Dan Havron , a Franciscan priest, and the Rev. Juan Guerra, a Legionaries of Christ priest, will lead a bilingual mission at 7 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 4, through Wednesday, Dec. 7, at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church, 854 Old Edgefield Road in North Augusta. The mission will end with a vigil Mass for the feast of the Immaculate Conception.
An outdoor drama, A Miracle at Bethlehem, will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Dec. 3, at Miracle Baptist Church, 1308 Hephzibah-McBean Road in Hephzibah.

Shop till you drop
