AUGUSTA, Ga.- Mr. Harvey Boswell Warren, Jr., 77, beloved husband of 59 years of Mrs. Ruth Warren, entered into rest on Thursday, November 24, 2005 at his residence. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 26, 2005 at 11:00 p.m. at Crawford Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Joey Thompson and Dr. William Owens officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Warren, known as "B.B." by almost everyone, was a faithful member of Crawford Avenue Baptist Church, where he was a deacon, the church treasurer, vice president of the Faithful Ones and a church bus driver for over 30 years. He served in the United States Marine Corps in 1951 and 1952, and then spent six more years in the Marine Reserves. He had retired from E.I. DuPont after 39 years of service in security and communications, and during this time, he also helped run his family owned corner grocery store. He was a 33rd degree Mason, a Shriner, past Worshipful Master of Social Lodge #1 and past Commander of the Legion of Honor. He worked as a poll worker at Paine College for 15 years, and this past summer, he went on a mission trip to Mississippi to assist with the Hurricane Katrina relief effort. He will be remembered as a wonderful and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Harvey Boswell "Chip" Warren III and his wife, Cyndi; two daughters, Bonnie Warren Youn and Carol Warren Thompson and her husband, Steve; a sister, Adelle Warren Epps; seven grandchildren, Valerie G. Smith, Warren A. Wylds, Jennafer L. Thompson, Pamela J. Thompson, Danielle E. Thompson, Heather B. Warren and Harrison B. Warren; and also five great-grandsons, Jacob R. Smith, Jeremy T. Smith, Matthew S. Burnside, Lane D. Burnside and Warren Andrew Wylds, Jr. Pallbearers will be Warren Andrew Wylds, Sr., Tracy Warren Durand, Alan W. Thompson, Robert B. Smith, Walter H.
