GRANITEVILLE, S.C. - Entered into rest November 24, 2005, Mrs. Martha Lois Hammonds Herrington of Graniteville, wife of the late Jack C. Herrington, Sr. and daughter of the late James Herbert Hammonds and the late Annie Seagraves Hammonds. She is survived by two sons, Jack C. Herrington, Jr. of Graniteville and Keith Herrington of Graniteville and his fiancŽe, Paula McIntyre; two grandchildren, Jeremy Herrington of North Augusta and his wife, Ashley Herrington, and Janie Lunsford of Aiken; and a greatgrandson, Evan Herrington of North Augusta. Martha was born in Athens, Ga. but has been a resident of Aiken County for the past 67 years. She retired from Graniteville Company as a payroll clerk with over 30 years of service. She was a dedicated member of Calvary Baptist Church where she taught Children's Sunday School for over 30 years. Martha was a very loving person; always loving, always loved. The funeral service will be conducted Sunday, November 27, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. James Young officiating. The interment will follow in the Graniteville Cemetery. The pallbearers will be Harold Bledsoe, Earl Wilson, Lloyd Yaun, Mike Cothran, Ken Screws, Milton Rushton, Jim Seymour, Dale McGee, Wade Ratke and Ray Clark. The family will receive friends at the residence in Graniteville or tonight, Saturday, November 26, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Napier funeral Home.
