The annual 100 Black Men of Augusta's annual Thanksgiving Basketball Classic begins today with five games at Richmond Academy.
Butler, Cross Creek, Evans, Glenn Hills, Hephzibah, Laney, North Augusta, Richmond Academy, Strom Thurmond and Warren County make up the 10-team field.
The tournament continues Saturday with five more games and a slam dunk/3-point shooting contest.
The tournament will feature such top talent as Butler's Austin Steed, who has committed to play at South Carolina. New coaches this year include Bo Rouse at North Augusta, Brian Wallace at Warren County and Paul Martin at Laney.
Tournament proceeds go toward the 100 Black Men's mentoring program. Tickets are $6.
