AUGUSTA, Ga. - Ms. Mable Juanita Sutton, age 77, of Augusta, entered into rest on Sunday evening, November 20, 2005 at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center - Downtown Division, with her family by her side. A native of Savannah, GA, she was raised in Kite and lived for many years in Wrightsville before moving to the Augusta area in the mid 1970's. Ms. Sutton had served in the U.S. Naval Reserves prior to enlisting in active duty in the early 1940's. After being discharged in 1953, she spent some time in New Orleans before returning to Georgia. She had worked with Civil Service at Warner Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robbins, GA and Ft. Gordon Army Base in Augusta; where she was the first, female, Household Goods Inspector. An avid fisherman, who could get a bite in a bucket, she was a former member of the Friendship United Methodist Church and the VFW. She is survived by two daughters, Sandy Perry and her husband, Greg, Jessup, GA and Becky Reisinger and her husband, Will, Grovetown, GA; one sister, Marie Moody, Perry, GA; six grandchildren, Michael Wayne Conover, Eddie Shane Conover, Crystle Lea Burks, Joesph Ray Myers, Christopher Ray Reisinger, Jennifer Cherie' Reisinger; numerous great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11:00 am, on Saturday, November 26, 2005 from the Chapel of Elliott Sons Funeral Home, 4255 Columbia Road, Martinez, GA. Interment and Graveside committal services will follow at 3:30 pm, at the graveside in Westview Cemetery, Wrightsville, GA. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm on Friday at the funeral home.
