MARIETTA, Ga. - Mrs. Emma Lucille Campbell James, 80, of Marietta, died Sunday, November 20, 2005. Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 23, at the Chapel of Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta with Reverend Bobby Sunderland officiating. Burial will be at Cheatham Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. An Augusta native, Mrs. James worked for Riches Department Store for 30 years as a Sales Representative before retiring. She was a very active member of her church where she taught Children's Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She was a member of Roswell Street Baptist church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, M.C. James. Survivors include her son, Randy and Jean James of LaHabra, Calif.; daughters, Vera and Bill Mullaney of Marietta, Joyce and Brian Specht of Marianna, Fla., Kay and Wayne Ervin of Brunswick, Ga. and Theresa James of Marietta; brothers, Guy S. Campbell, Jr. and Vernon Rikard; sisters, Marie James, Elizabeth Ray and Thelma Utley, all of Augusta; grandchildren, Jana Danner, Allen Specht, Steven Specht and Rebecca Ervin and three great-grandchildren.
