AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Leece R. Grindle of Hicks Street, Augusta, beloved husband of Mrs. Jimmie P. Grindle, entered into rest on Sunday, November 20, 2005 at Portsbridge Hospice. Funeral services will be held at Platt's Crawford Ave. Chapel on Wednesday, November 23, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Sherrell Dunn officiating. Burial will follow in Westover Memorial Park. Additional survivors include three sons, Jerry Raymond Grindle of Augusta, Leece Marvin Grindle of Memphis, Tenn. and Alvin Lamar Grindle of New Ellenton, S.C.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A native of Gainesville, Ga. Mr. Grindle was retired from the Maintenance Dept. at Sibley Mill. He was a member of Curtis Baptist Church. Active pallbearers will be Joseph Mock, Raymond Grindle, Jamie Daniels, Casper Finley and Brian Daniels.
