IF OUR INTELLIGENCE WAS wrong, then the war is wrong - end of story. Time to bring our troops home; they've done the best they can with the raw deal they were handed. It's time to end the lie.
THIS IS A HUGE RAVE to Jason W. Burton, a disabled Iraqi war veteran and recent transplant to our area from Utah. Driving through the intersection of Georgia Avenue and Edgefield Road last week, Jason noticed the entire intersection covered with sales papers, the apparent result of an accident and a windy day. Jason returned and spent an entire afternoon alone collecting three large trash bags of litter from the intersection. Thank you, Jason, for your service to our country and for reminding us what just one person can do to keep our city as beautiful as it is.
THIS IS A RAVE for them voting down the drag strip. Why should those who live in a peaceful area have to start living with the noise it will create just because people with more money than they know what to do with want a drag strip?
SUE BURMEISTER is an honorable woman and would not say anything racist. That she is under attack for racist comments is the typical response from Democrats when they want to try and take someone down. I hate to say it, but I held signs in the last two elections and I struck up a friendly conversation with some Democrats there and asked them questions about their candidate and some of the issues. They informed me that they didn't even know who he was and were brought in by bus along with many other people and were paid $50 and lunch to campaign and then vote for him. ... So voter fraud really is happening, and that is a powerful reason for having IDs to vote.
