ATHENS, Ga. - Georgia linebacker Tony Taylor could be done for the season after another injury.
Taylor underwent arthroscopic knee surgery to repair a torn meniscus Friday, the latest in a series of injuries that struck the fourth-year junior.
He missed Saturday's game against Kentucky and isn't like to play in the regular-season finale against Georgia Tech or the Dec. 3 Southeastern Conference championship game.
"The best-case scenario is the bowl," coach Mark Richt said after No. 14 Georgia clinched the SEC East with a 45-13 victory over the Wildcats.
Taylor missed all of 2004 after tearing a knee ligament in spring practice. He took over as the starting middle linebacker this season, but an elbow injury knocked him out of two games.
Returning to the lineup, Taylor had a season-high 13 tackles against Auburn last week. Now, another knee injury.
Jarvis Jackson started in place of Taylor, making five tackles and forcing a fumble.
