Willie Mays will unite Augusta

I wholeheartedly endorse Willie Mays for mayor of Augusta, and ask voters to give him the majority Tuesday so he can move our great city forward.

Mays has the political experience, strong and effective leadership skills, and political savvy. He knows when to pull or not to pull certain strings or coattails. He will communicate successfully with all the commissioners, city employees, citizens and business people. He also will represent all citizens as a great ambassador promoting the positive aspects of Augusta.

Mays is the right person at this time to lead us with a new vision and mission. Mays' campaign slogan, "Leadership for one Augusta," is a needed prescription to heal some old wounds. He will advocate cooperative government and working together to make a difference, and will help build a better Augusta.

Remember, this election will determine our destiny for the next 10 years. Go to the polls Tuesday and help create a dynamic Augusta.

A vote for Willie Mays will be a vote for one Augusta.
