CSRA CLASSIC, featuring the Savannah State vs. Bethune-Cookman football game and the local high school Battle of the Bands, returns for its 13th year to the Butler High School's stadium, 2011 Lumpkin Road. Pee Wee football begins at 8 a.m.; the Battle of the Bands at 10 a.m. and the football teams take the field at 2 p.m. Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 at the gate for adults; $9 in advance and $12 at gate for students. BACK TO THE PAST: The Colonial Times adventure A Day to Remember brings the past to the present from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Living History Park, 299 W. Spring Grove Ave., North Augusta. See hornsmithing, pottery, butter churning, weaving and spinning, quilting and more; free.
TAKE TO THE SKY: The Boshears Skyfest air show returns to Daniel Field, Highland Avenue at Wrightsboro Road. Gates open at 9 a.m. for displays, aerobatics, carnival rides and rides on helicopters and airplanes. GET ARTFUL: The Columbia County Art and Renaissance Festival ends it's three-day run at the Savannah Rapids Pavilion, 3300 Evans to Locks Road, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Activities include Renaissance demonstrations by the Society of Creative Anachronism, live entertainment, children's games, arts and craft vendors, food and more; free.
