BELVEDERE, S.C. - Memorial services for Mr. James E. "Bubba" Broome, Sr., 82, of Audubon Circle, Belvedere, who died October 9, 2005 will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Belvedere United Methodist Church, Rev. David Lee and Rev. David T. Templeton officiating. Private interment in Sunset Memory Gardens with Military Honors. Mr. Broome was a native of Augusta having made Belvedere his home for the past 50 years. He was member of the Belvedere United Methodist Church where he was active in the Men's Club, a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II, retired from E.I. DuPont Company and a member of the Jesse C. Lynch Memorial American Legion Post #71. Mr. Broome was the husband of the late Mrs. Jackie Broome. Survivors include three sons, Jimmy Broome, Charleston, S.C., Jack Broome, Medford, Ore., and Brad Broome, North Augusta; a daughter, Elizabeth Campbell, North Augusta; a sister, Dot B. Rogers, North Augusta; eight grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. The family will receive friends this Tuesday afternoon at the residence of Mr. Brad Broome, 282 Bridle Path Rd., North Augusta, SC from 4 to 6. Memorials may be made to the Belvedere United Methodist Church Men's Club, 202 Rhomboid Place, Belvedere, SC 29841. Stephen D.
