AUGUSTA, Ga. - Miss Martha A. Ray, 82, entered into rest Saturday, October 8, 2005 at University Hospital. A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM, on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 in Westover Memorial Park with the Reverend Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating. Survivors include two cousins, Mrs. Ada James (Gary) and Mrs. Dot Hobbs (Robert) both of Augusta; her beloved dog, Chelsey and numerous other cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Charles M. and Betty P. Ray. A native of Augusta, Georgia, Miss Ray retired from the CSX Railroad Company after 42 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Augusta and a dedicated member of Senior Friends.
