AUGUSTA, Ga. - Carolyn Anne Hirsch, 59, of Norfolk St., entered into rest Monday, October 3, 2005 in University Hospital. Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 6, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hatcher, Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Reverend Debbie Perkins officiating. Ms. Hirsch was a native of Charlotte, N.C. and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Paul and Laura Land Alverson. She was a homemaker and had lived in Augusta for 15 years. Survivors include three sons, Donald Garrett of Augusta, Samuel Alverson of Jacksonville, Fla., Carmine Barone of Ocala, Fla.; one daughter, Deborah Mitchell of Augusta; and 13 grandchildren; three brothers, Dennis Alverson, Paul Alverson, Jr., Phillip Alverson all of Jacksonville, Fla.; one sister, Betty Guengrich of Idaho.
