AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Luvenia Kettles, of Golden Camp Rd., entered into rest Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church with Rev. Alton R. Pegues officiating. Burial will be at Southview Cemetery. Mrs. Kettles was a native of McDuffie Co. and a member of the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Church. She was formerly employed at the Gracewood State School and Hospital. Survivors are her husband, Joseph Kettles; two daughters, Joyce (Charles) Glover, Louis Ferguson, Augusta; daughter-in-law, Josephine Mack; two grandsons, Christopher (Karen) M. Mack, Tevarus Glover, Augusta; one granddaughter, Stephanie C. Mack; two great-grandsons, Christopher M. Mack, II, Corey M. Mack, Augusta; nieces, Bessie (Booker) Madden, Glen Bournie, Md., Dorothy (Henry) Brock, LaVerne McAllister, Earnestine James, Daisy Burton, Johnnie Mae (Joe) Brown, Augusta; nephew, James (Daisy) White, Augusta; and a host of other relatives and friends.
