SHREVEPORT, La. - Entered into rest September 23, 2005 at the Willis Knighton Pierremont Hospital, Shreveport, Retired SFC E-7 Alfred Samuel Frazier, 74, husband of Mrs. Rosella Frazier. Funeral services will be Friday, September 30, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from the Starling Funeral Home with the Army Chaplain officiating. Interment will be in the Bellevue Memorial Gardens with full military honors. Mr. Frazier was a native of Wheeling, W.Va. and lived in Harlem, Ga. for many years before moving to Shreveport. He retired from the U.S. Army and served in the Korean and Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Michael's Parish-Good Shepherd Church at Fort Gordon, Ga. Survivors include two daughters, Lynnette L. Kugler of Haughton, La. and Mary C. Joseph of Orting, Wash.; two sisters, Lois J. Myers of Bridgeport, Ohio and Florence Myers of Arkon, Ohio; additional survivors include four grandchildren, Zachery Neal, Casey Kugler, Amanda Joseph, Peggy Joseph; and two great-grandchildren, Steven and Katie. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2005 from 7 to 9 at Starling Funeral Home, Hwy. 78, Harlem, Ga. Email condolence to the family at starling@familink.com.
