KINGSTREE, S.C. - Ruby McClam Ferguson Eaddy, wife of G.R. Eaddy, died September 27, 2005, at a Florence hospital. Mrs. Eaddy was born in Florence County on May 24, 1936, the daughter of Lero Blackmon McClam and Levi McClam. She was a graduate of Lake City schools and was a housewife. Mrs. Eaddy was a member of the Ladies Auxilliary of McClary-Cole Post of the VFW and she attended Kingstree Pentecostal Holiness Church. Mrs. Eaddy was preceded in death by her first husband, Jack B. Ferguson, Sr., by her brothers, L.J. McClam and Donald McClam, and her son, Jack B. Ferguson, Jr. Survivors in addition to her husband of Kingstree are her son, David Ferguson of Barnwell; step-daughter, Linda Strong of Kingstree; step-son, Spencer Eaddy of Columbia; seven sisters, Jeddie Cannon and Betty Mann, both of Kingstree, Mary Smith of Cades, Leila Mae Metts and Mellie Chrispofi, both of Columbia, Vickie Summers of San Antonio, TX, and Evelyn Hilderbrand of Denver, CO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 29, 2005 in the Chapel of Williamsburg Funeral Home with interment to follow at 3:00 PM at Swallow Savannah Cemetery in Allendale.
