Hughes, Sr. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Hatcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lamar Kersey officiating. Interment will be private. Melina was born in Atlanta, GA. She was a registered nurse with the University of Virginia Medical Center, Charlottesville, VA. Also surviving are her father Ernest Arrington, Jr. and step-mother, Diane Arrington, Beech Island, SC; her mother, Utah Hopkins Arrington; a brother, Nickie Brent Arrington; a maternal grandmother, Eunice Hopkins, all of Soperton, GA; and a step-son, Geoffrey S. Hughes, Jr., Arlington, VA; a niece, Christy M. Arrington, Graniteville, SC; a step-sister, Renae Enlow, North Augusta, SC; three step-brothers, Jeff Wheat, Mike Wheat, and Travis Wheat, all of Langley, SC.
