AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Robert (Me-Me) Avery departed this life Friday, September 23, 2005 at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 29, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Faith Temple Missionary Baptist Church at 2411 Young Drive. Rev. Selena Williams and Rev. Patricia Johnson officiating. Remains will lie in state one hour prior to the services. The family will assemble at 1:00 p.m. at 2204 Bungalow Road. Interment will follow in Southview Cemetery. He leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Crystal Avery; one dear friend, Leslie Evans; one aunt, Lucille Avery; three sisters, Eleanor Jones, Marilyn Avery and Sharilyn Avery; four brothers, Henry (Connie) Avery, Jr., Charles Avery, William Avery and David Avery, all of Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
