NEVER, EVER, HAVE I seen such a redneck newspaper! I left Augusta 36 years ago, and the only thing changed since then is the degradation of the IQ level of the city.

WE NEED TO HAVE an investigation of the big oil companies ripping us off badly. The cost at the pump does not reflect the cost of a barrel of oil. We've been price-gouged once again by big oil.

MY RANT IS ABOUT natural gas. I only use it for heating, and I have not used it one time during July, August or September. My bill is $38.32 for July, $38.32 for August, and $38.31 for September, without any use at all.

A NEW NAME FOR the Columbia County consolidated government. Maybe they should consider Snobville or either Whiteflightville. How many of those jerks up there work and make their living in Augusta?
