AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Peter "Pete" Williams of Gebhart Drive entered into rest Wednesday, September 21, 2005 at University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Hill Baptist Church, Louisville, GA with Rev. Peter Sparks officiating. Burial will be at Ways Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Jefferson County. Mr. Williams, a native of Jefferson County, was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church where he served as the oldest deacon. He was a former employee of Riverside Mill and was retired from Greenfield Company. Survivors are his wife, Rosa L. Williams; two daughters, Delores Glover, Augusta and Brenda (Michael P., Sr.) Marshall, Hephzibah; four grandchildren, Leroy Glove, Jr., Nikya Glover, Felicia Glover, Augusta and Michael P. Marshall, Jr., Hephzibah; four great-grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Williams, Jacksonville, Fla.; sisters-in-law, Lillie M. Blake, Wrens, GA and Naomi Williams, Louisville, GA; devoted cousin, Eleanor Davis, Augusta; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
