A Family Health Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. today at Fielding Spring Missionary Baptist Church, 4675 Mike Padgett Highway.

Bless the beasts

The Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter will hold a service to bless pets at 10 a.m. today at Doctors Hospital field, at North Belair Road at Ronald Reagan Drive behind the Kroger in Evans. Happy Tails Rescue also will offer pets for adoption. Call 210-1133. St. Paul's Episcopal Church will bless pets at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 2, at the church, 605 Reynolds St. Call 736-0186. Pets must be on leashes or in carriers.
