Senators were hypocritical in hearings

Only history can judge the dementia exhibited by Democratic voters in Massachusetts and Delaware who sent Edward Kennedy and Joseph Biden to the U.S. Senate. The rest of the nation can only be mortified that these politicians - one who was thrown out of Harvard for cheating before a female campaign worker died in his car, and the other who was found guilty of plagiarism - have the audacity to question Judge John Roberts during his hearings to become the next chief justice of the Supreme Court.

Their incredibly rude behavior during hearings of the Senate Judiciary Committee is testimony to the depravity to which the present day Democratic Party has sunk. Both of these pathetic individuals need to crawl up the steps of the U.S. Capitol on their knees and offer mea culpas for their criminal conduct before asking further questions of such distinguished nominees as John Roberts.

Neither Mr. Kennedy nor Mr. Biden is worthy to shine the judge's shoes, much less be in the same room with him. I suspect, however, that Mary Jo Kopechne would rise from her grave and Neil Kinnock would give a speech on behalf of Joe Biden before these two embarassments would apologize for their dishonorable behavior.

For those too young to be familiar with Sen. Biden's criminality, he gave a speech written by Mr. Kinnock and claimed it was his own. Sen. Kennedy was found negligent in the death of a young woman whom he spirited away from a party in 1969. He was married at the time. You be the judge of their behavior.
