-The 17th Annual Industry Appreciation Golf Classic, sponsored by Aiken Electric Cooperative, Inc., will be held Monday at Woodside Plantation. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. with a luncheon and putting competition. -The second annual Guardian Cup will be held Sept. 30 at Jones Creek. Format will be a traditional Lauderdale. Tournament fee will be $70 per person, and includes green fees, cart rental, range balls, beverages, awards dinner and prize money. Proceeds will benefit Augusta Safe Homes. -The 12th annual Bert Yancey Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Oct. 10 at the River Golf Club in North Augusta. The tournament will be four-man lauderdale format, and proceeds will benefit the Mental Health Association of Greater Augusta, and local affiliates of the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill and the Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance. -The Fore Everyone adaptive free golf clinics are held the second Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m. until noon at First Tee of Augusta.
