A SENSITIVE PERSON would have pulled into Copeland Elementary and gently told them of their mistake instead of pointing it out in the newspaper for everybody to see.
TO THE PERSON WHO WROTE a rant about funeral processions: You are so stupid. We are just showing the loved one respect. If it was your loved one, I'm sure you would appreciate this courtesy.
WELL, ONCE AGAIN the only promises our great president keeps are going to be to the rich and his oil friends, not to mention Cheney's Halliburton connection. The rich get richer, and the poor get nothing.
A BIG RAVE for the students (not the parents!) at Episcopal Day School who raised $10,330 for the Katrina victims. Way to go; we're proud of you!
YES, MY CHILDREN PLAY outside all summer - at the pool, the lake, or the beach! That's where they belong in August, not roasting in upper 90 degree weather on the playground with no way to cool off!
A RANT TO THE GOVERNMENT in Louisiana; they need to step up to the plate and take much of the blame for not having an evacuation plan for the poor. They should have been sensitive to the needs of their own citizens, and the surrounding geographical conditions of the state. Augusta officials need to be listening and watching.
THIS IS A RANT to the elderly lady that broke in front of me at First Baptist Church before the concert. Just because you are a million years old does not mean you throw common courtesy and respect out of the window. Age does not give you that right. Next time if you decide to break line don't invite your friends over in front of you so that the people behind you have to wait an extra 15 minutes just to get one ticket.
I THINK IT'S DISGRACEFUL for the civic center to book The Nutcracker just before the Augusta Ballet production. I hope all Augusta will stage a mass boycott.
A RAVE FOR THE Arts in the Heart festival where you can eat your way around the world, be entertained by the world and enjoy a big variety of arts and crafts.
