Lowell Greenbaum reared his head again as a representative of the Democratic Party, claiming the current administration is responsible for the events following Hurricane Katrina ("Response to Katrina was far too sluggish," Sept. 8).
His party is the party of inaction - the party that is in control of the state of Louisiana. Greenbaum should think more like a caring U.S. citizen and give 2 percent of his gross annual income to the survivors of Katrina, as I did the day after the storm.
I acted. Greenbaum's party didn't. He can only blame. Shame on him.
