Democrats have been downright despicable

Democrats and the network media elites have hit an all-time-low. Rapper extraordinaire Kanye West charged that President George W. Bush does not like "black people," and author Anne Rice blames the federal government for not helping enough with Katrina relief.

Furthermore, NBC-TV Democratic pit Yorkie Tim Russert urged Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to resign over an act of God and local Democratic ineptitude. Gov. Kathleen Blanco, D-La., charges that the federal government "failed us."

All of you, put a cork in that whine and act one-fourth of your chronological ages!

Blanco refused federal assistance via the National Guard reclaiming numerous cities because "it amounts to martial law." No, it amounts to less looting and senseless violence of whom most of the victims to this point, Mr. West might want to know, have not been white.

But go ahead, everyone, find Republicans and blame them, and let chaos reign.

The Emergency Operations Act gives the order to evacuate to local and state officials. So to answer Russert's venomous diatribe of why Chertoff did not order the evacuation of parts of Louisiana, it's because the elected bozos who live there failed to perform their duty and order an evacuation.

To top it off, U.S. Sen. Mary Landrieu, D-La., threatened to "punch" President Bush - a federal offense. She says that he came to Louisiana for a photo-op (damned if he does, damned if he doesn't). And after she threatened the president, she cried like a baby in front of the cameras. She and Blanco have no clue and have lost control - if they were ever in control.

In September 2001, do any of us recall New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani or Gov. George Pataki, R-N.Y., acting in such a fashion?

Democrats will be Democrats, and the media - enough said. You people are despicable.
