Sowing seeds

Dr. Michael Guido, "The Sower," of Metter, Ga., will preach at 10:30 a.m. Sun-day at Bible Fellowship Church, which meets at The Belair Conference Center, 4083 S. Belair Road. Singer and composer Archie Jordan will speak at 7 p.m. Monday. Meet the author

T.J. Carson, the author of Born Again - a Second Chance at Life, will discuss his book at 7 p.m. Monday at the Nancy Carson Library, 135 Edgefield Road in North Augusta.

Prayer at the pole

The annual See You at the Pole day of prayer will take place Wednesday at Augusta-area schools. Youth evangelist Brandon Stanley, of Atlanta, and the bands No Box, Overflow and Tailored will hold a warm-up rally at 7 p.m. Sunday at Heights Baptist Church, 1601 Williston Highway in Beech Island. Concessions will be available. Another rally will feature pizza, evangelist Ken Freeman, of San Antonio, Texas, and Spur 58, of Murfreesboro, Tenn., to cap the 2005 Pole day at 7 p.m. Wednesday at West Acres Baptist Church, 555 Gibbs Road in Evans.

Microsoft Word classes for women will be offered at 9:30 a.m. Saturdays at First Baptist Church, 3500 Walton Way. Deadline for courtesy reservations is Thursday. Classes are sponsored by Sisters of Service Women's Ministry. Call 733-2236.
