AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Samuel P. Wimberly departed this life on Monday, September 12, 2005 at Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. He is survived by four children: three sons, Demetrick Wimberly, DeShun Wimberly, Washington, D.C. and Monzel (Pam) Wimberly, Augusta; one daughter, Michelle M. Wimberly, Augusta; five brothers, Willie (Cynthia) Green, Eugene (Susan) Green, Christopher Wimberly, John Miller of Augusta, Deacon Elliott Parker of Dearing, GA and Ike (Denise) Blount of Montgomery, Ala.; seven sisters, Donnie (Willie) Hopgood, Brenda Blount of Newark, NJ, Annice Blount of Bushville, PA, Gwendolyn (Earl) Rouse, Pamela Kendrick, Carolyn Wimberly and Gloria Grant of Augusta; one god daughter, Ynthia Beal of Augusta; 12 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; one devoted niece, Renita Blair; a special friend, Madam McCoullough of Washington, D.C.; a host of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will have visitation at Peoples Funeral Home Chapel located at 723 Walton Way on Friday, September 16th from 7 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 17th at the Mother House of Prayer with Apostle C.M.
