American Bass Anglers

National championship, Red River, Shreveport, La., Oct. 2-8, for those making the point cutoff. Billed as the largest tournament trail for weekend anglers, it's open to men, women and youths (with parental consent) 16 years of age and older.
Entry fee is $55 for one-day tournaments. Payment at the ramp will result in a $5 penalty unless you are signing up as a new member, renewing membership or are a life member.
