It took a move away from home for Rebekah Rogers to meet Eric Angel and find what she'd been looking for in love.

"I didn't want to leave my family, but I just knew I needed to," she said of her 2001 move to Greenville, N.C., to attend graduate school. "I was always told I'd meet the man of my dreams when I left town."

Though she didn't expect it, that's exactly what happened.

They were fast friends, but it wasn't until three years later that they became an official couple, and the play on his last name came to bear more relevance.

"I love the way he loves me and the affection and attention he shows me," Mrs. Angel said. "Talk about a true angel. God sent a true angel in my life when I needed one. For him, it's the same way."

The couple exchanged vows Saturday at the Ritz- Carlton at Reynolds Plantation in Greensboro, Ga.
