Mississippi event moved to November
The PGA Tour's Southern Farm Bureau Classic in Madison, Miss., has been moved to the first weekend in November because of Hurricane Katrina.
Tournament executive director Robert Morgan said Wednesday that he asked the tour to postpone the $3 million event, originally scheduled for Oct. 6-9 at Annandale Golf Club, to give Mississippi time to recover from the deadly hurricane.
The tournament will be played Nov. 3-6, opposite the Tour Championship in Atlanta.
Morgan said all net proceeds from the tournament will be donated to Hurricane Katrina relief in Mississippi.

Chelsea is under fire from group
Defending champion Chelsea was accused of misconduct by England's Football Association on Thursday for doing independent drug tests on some of its players.
The FA said the tests took place July 12, 2004, violating the agreement that all tests must be part of the FA's anti-doping program. Chelsea has until Sept. 23 to respond.
"Chelsea has seen the FA charge issued today and will defend it vigorously," the team said. "The club feels that it has done nothing morally wrong."
Former Chelsea striker Adrian Mutu failed a club-administered test before an official positive test for cocaine. The FA suspended him for seven months in September 2004.
Chelsea fired Mutu as well as goalkeeper Mark Bosnich, who tested positive for cocaine and was suspended for nine months by the FA in April 2003.

Runner's medal bid rejected by court
In Lausanne, Switzerland, the Brazilian runner who was grabbed by a spectator while leading the Olympic marathon lost his bid Thursday to be awarded a duplicate gold medal.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport rejected Vanderlei de Lima's appeal, saying it couldn't change the result of the 2004 Athens race unless there was evidence of "bad faith or arbitrariness."
