Andruw Jones was named the National League's Player of the Month for August - the second time he's received the honor this year.
"He's been a lot more consistent," Atlanta manager Bobby Cox said.
Jones led the league in August with 11 home runs, 29 RBI and four game-winning runs driven in. Overall, he leads the NL with 45 homers and 112 RBI. He's the first Brave to be a two-time winner of the award in the same season.
"I just had a good month," Jones said.
He's only the 23rd player to be a two-time recipient in the same year since the award was created in 1958.
