Recent guest columnist was hilarious

Congratulations on discovering what a select few already know: Bob Perdue is an authentic folk humorist who can make you laugh on your worst day ("Dreams can come true; they can happen to you," Aug. 19 column).

Even that picture of him looking like Bill Kirby had just dropped an ice cube down the back of his pants cracked me up.

Now that you know, sit this guy down at the keyboard and take the bridle off him. We need relief from the same old jokes coming from City Hall.
