War is just one big Bush ego trip

I have been following Cindy Sheehan's efforts in Crawford, Texas, to speak with President Bush. The first question I heard from her was, "Why did my son have to die?"

The answer is simple: He and more than 2,000 of America's finest future leaders have been killed or maimed to satiate Bush's overinflated ego. I am old enough to remember another frighteningly similar ego being satiated in Europe back in the 1930s and '40s.

My prayers are with Cindy and the families of all those who have died or been injured in this ridiculous war.
