Event will provide parents with ID kit

More than 3,000 Wal-Mart shopping centers will participate in the first Smart Parent & Safe Baby event from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 3.

The event, which is being held with the help of the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, will include free child identification kits.

The kits will include "leading DNA technology, safety information for parents and guardians, and a placeholder for an updated child photo," says the company's news release.

Adults don't have to use baby bibs

Joy Murphy searched in vain for a stylish adult dinner bib after her mother suffered a debilitating stroke.

When her search netted nothing, Ms. Murphy created her own adult-size bibs for seniors

"I refused to buy the giant-size baby bibs," Ms. Murphy said. "They are too big, too ugly and too heavy. My mother is not wearing a giant baby bib because she deserves something better, she deserves something stylish, fashionable and more dignified." The bibs are available at www.fancybibs.com.
