AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. William Albert Fletcher, 65, of Dogwood Drive, Augusta, entered into rest Thursday, August 18, 2005 at his home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hatcher, Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Elder James Tranter officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park. A native of O'Brien, Fla., he lived in Augusta most of his life. He was retired from International Paper Company after 37 years of service. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of nearly 40 years, Linda Fletcher; two daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Jerry Spence and Donna and Eugene Homschek, III, all of Augusta; three brothers, Orlan Fletcher of Perry, Fla., Irvin Fletcher of Hephzibah, and Charles Fletcher of Harlem; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Brianna Spence of Augusta, Levi Homschek of Brunswick, Zachary Homschek of Beech Island, S.C.
