SANDERSVILLE, Ga. - Mrs. Faye Reynolds Prosser, age 67, of Sandersville, died Friday, August 19, 2005 at the Medical College of Georgia. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at Sisters Baptist Church with burial in Brownwood Cemetery in Sandersville. Rev. Thomas Roberson and Rev. William E. Brown will officiate. Pallbearers will be Jamie Reynolds, William Reynolds, Charles Reynolds, Tommy Reynolds, Jimmy Dunn, Steven Prosser and Eugene Prosser. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of the Silent Seekers Sunday School Class at Sisters Baptist Church. Mrs. Prosser was born in Hancock County the daughter of the late James Thomas Reynolds and the late Evie Osborne Reynolds. She was a retired ward clerk for the Washington County Regional Medical Center having started her career as a nurse at Rawlings Sanitarium. Mrs. Prosser was a member to the Sisters Baptist church and the Silent Seeker Sunday School Class. She is predeceased by her husband, Alton Prosser. Survivors are her sister, Frances Reynolds, and her brother, Eugene F. Reynolds, both of Sandersville; nieces and nephews, Patricia Ann Sheppard of Sandersville, James Larry Dunn of Bonair, Barbara Hones, Betty Barker, both of Sandersville, Charles Reynolds of Harrison, Tommy Reynolds of Albany, Marie Durden of Warner Robins, William Reynolds of Warthen, and Jamie Reynolds of Sandersville; and numerous great-nieces and nephews. The family will be at the residence of Cliff and Patricia Sheppard, 402 Lynwood Dr., Sandersville, and will receive friends Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. at May and Smith Funeral Directors, 1119 Riddleville Rd., Sandersville.
