AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, August 18, 2005 at the residence, Mr. William Albert Fletcher, 65, husband of nearly 40 years to Mrs. Linda Fletcher of Dogwood Drive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hatcher, Chance & Hydrick Funeral Directors with Elder James Tranter officiating. Interment will be in Westover Memorial Park. Mr. Fletcher was a native of O'Brien, Fla. and had lived in Augusta most of his life. He was retired from International Paper Company after 37 years service. He was one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Additional survivors include his daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Jerry Spence, Donna and Eugene Homschek, III, all of Augusta; three brothers, Orlan Fletcher of Perry, Fla., Irvin Fletcher of Hephzibah, and Charles Fletcher of Harlem; four grandchildren, Jonathan and Briana Spence of Augusta, Levi Homschek of Brunswick, Zachary Homscheck of Beech Island, S.C.
