Mr. James F. Burton (AUGUSTA, Ga.)

AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. James F. Burton departed this life on Sunday, August 14, 2005 at his residence of Old Louisville Road, Augusta. He is survived by four sons, James W. Burton and Counciel L. Burton, Calif., Cardell P. Burton, Augusta and Bernard A. Burton, Atlanta; three brothers, William H. Washington, Charlie M. Burton and Norman Burton, Augusta; two sisters, Lucy L. Jordan, Augusta and Elizabeth B. Griffin, Hephzibah and 19 grandchildren, all of California. The family will have visitation of St. Alban's Episcopal Church located at 2321 Lumpkin Road on Friday, August, 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 20th at the church with Father Billy J. Alford officiating. The funeral procession will leave the residence at 10:15 a.m. Interment will take place at Lees Cemetery in Statesboro, GA.
