Mr. Harry T. Bradford (TIGNALL, Ga.)

TIGNALL, Ga. - Mr. Harry Thomas Bradford, 91, of Tignall, died July 29, 2005 at his residence. Mr. Bradford was born in Walton County but lived most of his life in the Wilkes County area. He was the son of the late Claude Warren and Tobitha B. Dunaway Bradford. He was a farmer and a member of Danburg Baptist Church where he served as a deacon for many years. He was a member of the Cattleman's Association, the Board of Health, and gave over 40 years of service to the Farm Bureau. Funeral services will be Monday, August 1, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Danburg Baptist Church with Rev. Dennis Garner and Rev. John McPherson officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Norris Ware, Melvin Hopkins, Gary Ware, Dean Ware, Johnny Ware, Daniel Thornton and Boyd Reeves. Survivors include his wife, Ina Elree Bradford; sons, Charles (Mary) Bradford, Washington, and Tommy (Claudia) Bradford, Washington; stepdaughter, Kay (Boyd) Reeves; four grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two grandchildren. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Hopkins Funeral Home, Washington, in charge of arrangements.
