HARLEM, Ga. - Entered into rest Friday, July 1, 2005 in the McDuffie County Hospital, Thomson, Mrs. Blanche S. Guillebeau, 89. She was preceded in death by her husband, Brantley F. Guillebeau in 1984 and granddaughter, Sheila K. Guillebeau in 1992. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 4, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Harlem Baptist Church with Dr. Robert Blankenship officiating. Burial will be in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery. Mrs. Guillebeau was the first kindergarten teacher in Harlem. She was a member of Harlem Baptist Church for over 70 years, teacher and member of the TEL Class and WMU director. She loved her Lord and Savior, her family and her church. She will truly be missed. Pallbearers will be Gary Holley, Terry Carter, Ken Sweatman, Scott Dean, Bob Brown and Ken Corley. Additional survivors include daughter, Frances (Hoyt) Hobgood, McDonough, GA; two sons, John Edward (Venera) Guillebeau and Robert Dannie (Susan) Guillebeau, both o f Harlem; six grandchildren, Harold Quinn, III, Nancy Lefever, Vickie Lajesse, Anthony Guillebeau and David Guillebeau and seven great-grandchildren.
