The Augusta GreenJackets bullpen couldn't finish off the Greenville Bombers on Saturday night, allowing the tying run in the ninth inning and the winning run in the 11th for a 6-5 loss on Fireworks Night at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
Brian Wilson blew his fifth save in the top of the ninth, and Brian Stirm took his first loss of the season after giving up a pair of doubles in the 11th.
Augusta trailed 4-1 before a three-run seventh, capped by Brian Horwitz's bases loaded two-run single. Alex Requena's RBI single in the eighth then gave the Jackets a 5-4 lead.
