GROVETOWN, Ga. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, May 25, 2005, Mr. Jason R. Williams, 34, of Grovetown. Mr. Williams was born in Albany, was a boilermaker and welder and member of the Boilermakers Iron Ship Builders Local 687. Family members include his daughter, Meagan Gail Williams of Jackson, S.C.; son, James Williams of Jackson, S.C.; mother and step-father, Linda Gail and Charles Powell of Grovetown; father and step-mother, Jimmy D. and Bess P. Williams of Augusta; grandmother, Mrs. Lucille Williams of Hephzibah; brothers, Mike Palmer of Augusta, Steve Palmer of Augusta, Scott Palmer and wife, Tracie Palmer of Staton Island, N.Y.; sisters, Kim P. and husband, Keith Pope, of Grovetown, Lisa Powell of Atlanta, Jessica and husband, Mike Newsome, of Evans; a number of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be held Friday, May 27, 2005 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. H.C. Harvey officiating.
