Mr. Jim Dolan (EVANS, Ga.)

EVANS, Ga. - Mr. Jim Dolan, age 70, of Evans, entered into rest on Tuesday morning, May 24, 2005 at University Hospital. A native of Chicago, Ill., he had resided in the Augusta area, since moving from Atlanta, seven years ago. Mr. Dolan, had worked as a Sales Representative for Swifts Premium Foods in Chicago, Ft. Worth and Atlanta, for 35 years, Unipro of Atlanta for ten years and with Anderson Consulting of Fla. for an additional five years. He was a Board member at Jones Creek and the Willow Lake Community in Evans. He had attended Advent Lutheran Church, Augusta. He is preceded in death by his first wife, of 34 years, Peg Dolan, she passed away in September of 1992; and his mother, Marie Smith. He is survived by his wife of tenyears, Sharon Dolan, Evans; sons, Jim Dolan, Jr., and his wife, Laura, Plano, TX, Mike Dolan and his wife, Kathy, Alpharetta; daughters, Cathy Frangipane and her husband, Greg, Cumming, Lee Ann Hinthorne and her husband, Ryan, Lawren ceburg, Ind.; eight grandchildren, Morgan, Chris, Kelsey, Jeff and Hunter Dolan, Giana Frangipane, Hailee Hinthorne, Nicholas Frangipane; his twin brother, Don Dolan and his wife, Pat, Oak Lawn, Ill.; his mother-in-law, Jane Whisenand, Elmwood, Ill.; and cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Tuesday, May 31, 2005 from the Chapel of Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, Oak Lawn, Ill. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Evergreen Park, Ill. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m., on Monday, May 30, 2005 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 326 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901 or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation.
