NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. - Funeral services for Mrs. Marilyn S. Spivey, 67, of Fairfield Avenue, North Augusta, SC, who died May 14, 2005, will be conducted Saturday morning at 11 o'clock from the Stephen D. Posey Funeral Home. Dr. James C. Adams and Rev. Murray L. Sallinger officiating. Interment in Pineview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Spivey was a native of Portsmouth, Virginia having made North Augusta her home for the past five years. She was a member of the United Methodist Church and a former employee of Kroger's of North Augusta. Survivors include two sons, David Alton Stephens, Hephzibah and Herman Devon Spivey, Jr., Raleigh, North Carolina, a daughter, Tammy Aveille, Pembroke Pines, Florida; a brother, Rev. Murray Lynn Sallinger, Amherst, Virginia; a sister, Mrs. Charles Terry, North Augusta; four grandchildren, Michael Aaron Aveille, Kayla Aveille, Melody Stephens and Jesse Stephens. Pallbearers will be Paul Hudson, Dennis Law, Larry Albea, Jimmy Spive y, Larry Spivey and Andy Spivey. The family will receive friends at the funeral home this Friday evening from 6 to 8.
