AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mrs. Carrie Mason Davis of Basswood Drive entered into rest Monday, May 16, 2005 at the University Hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 21, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. at D'Antignac Street Church of Christ with Roland Cumbee, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery. She was a native of Richmond County, Ga, a member of D'Antignac Street Church of Christ, a member of the Inspirations of Augusta and employed at Beverly Manor for 39 years. Survivors are her husband, Willie Lee Davis; son, Christopher Smith; two step-daughters, Debra Clay Davis and Williena Tucker, Augusta; two step-sons, Darish Davis and Ossie Lee (Wanda Simms) Davis, Augusta; mother, Mary Briscoe, Augusta; two sisters, Anita (Frank) Smith and Rachel (Eugene) Butler, Augusta; two brothers, John (Virginia) Bowman, Augusta, and Robert Briscoe, Atlanta; mother-in-law, Mary Lee Cockfield, Douglas, GA; devoted niece, Anita Smith; a host of other nieces, neph ews, other relatives and friends.
